About Us
Stacy Schoell has been a crafter all her life and had been searching for just the right business to utilize her talents. She saw her opportunity in 2004 when she found out that a bead shop in Dover was closing its doors.
When the decision was made to open a shop, Stacy?s vision included a full studio where people could come in and learn the art of Glass Bead Making and other jewelry making techniques. The Bead Bin and Studio became a reality on June 1, 2004.
The retail shop features Czech beads, Swarovski crystals, Bali silver, semi precious stones, Focal Beads, along with Jewelry making supplies. There are finished pieces of jewelry and beaded items for that special gift.
Every business evolves and The Bead Bin is no exception. After closing the retail location in Dover in May of 2007 Stacy took a position as Activities Director at a Senior Living Community in Durham NH. Utilizing her teaching abilities and love for Crafts of all types. Stacy never lost sight of her passion for beading. It is this passion that has brought Stacy back to the retail world of beads. The Bead Bin re-opens it's doors in June of 2009.
